Neil Vaughn, the auctioneer of Hudson Valley Auctioneers has over twenty years of experience conducting antique & estate auctions.

Neil was the auctioneer & driving force behind Cold Spring Galleries, a well known auction gallery that conducted bi-weekly auctions in Cold Spring, and later in Beacon for well over 20 years.

Knowledgeable in a wide variety of subjects including art pottery, native Indian objects, the Arts & Crafts period, art glass, bronzes, folk art and more.

Neil brings his substantial knowledge of the antique world and know how of the auction business to guarantee maximum return on your valuables.

Hudson Valley Auctioneers is managed by Theo de Haas, Theo has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of the auction world and has worked with Neil for well over 23 years.

He was responsible at Cold Spring Galleries for appraisals, repair & antique restoration, web design and trucking, over the years he acquired the skills necessary to meet today's demanding standards to succeed in the antique world.

Theo takes care of day to day operations, photography, appraisals, marketing & web design.

Hudson valley Auctioneers provides the following services:

Auction Service: Select quality items are accepted for our auction, held once a month.

Estate Sales : "On site" auction & estate sales service provided, references available upon request.

The contents of homes & estate executions are handled either by direct sale, on site estate sale, or on consignment basis.

We provide trucking, manpower and 'know how' in regard to handling fragile, rare, unique and antique objects to ensure that your selling experience with us will be a positive one.

In regards to commission rates, charges will be reflected by the quality of the merchandise and method of sale, standard commission is set at 20 %, please contact us for a consultation.

Consignments will be paid out between the second and third week after the auction date.
