The following item categories will be sold on Monday March 8th, 2010.
Preview will be held Sunday March 7th from 1 PM till 5 PM, and the day of sale from 2 PM till 6 PM.
Sale will start at 6 PM.
Included in this sale is the partial contents of a Millbrook apartment, a Cortland condo, a Poughkeepsie home, a Peekskill house, a Highland estate, several Beacon homes and a Pleasant Valley home.
Expect an eclectic sale including antique furniture such as bookcases, cylinder desks, inlaid sideboards, several mahogany diningroom tables, a large bamboo armoire, a 18th Century English 4 poster canopy bed with linnenfold paneling, sets of chairs, sofas and sidetables, Chippendale slant front desk.
We also have plenty of Mid Century moderne with tables, chairs, cabinets, and accessories by designers such as Karl Springer, Wakefield, Robsjohn Gibbings, Greta Grossman, Maitlin-Smith, Vilhelm Wohlers and more.
Cast and wrought iron pieces including Salterini table, sets of chairs, wrought iron planter, at least 4 wrought iron loungechairs and several benches
Accessories include a monumental jewelers clock, a late 18th Century grandfather clock, Santos figures, bronze nude by Jo Davidson, two clean Mills slotmachines, a large collection of Chinese objects , several violins, two Imari platters, a great miniature two tier stand covered in snakeskin, a selection of 17th Century English maps, cast iron mantle with mirror, art pottery, a Kalliope music disk player, cast iron planters, moderne lighting, large bronze ewers, bronze bust, bronze sculpture & much more.

Directions to Hudson Valley Auctioneers:
The City of Beacon is located off exit 11 from I-84 (take exit 17 off the New York State Thruway to I-84 east)
From exit 11 of I-84 take 9D south (right for eastbound, left for westbound traffic of I-84), follow 9D about a quarter of a mile and make a left turn on Main Street, go through 2 traffic lights, Hudson Valley Auctioneers will be on your left two blocks past the intersection with route 52 (Teller Avenue).
From Fishkill & U.S. 9, take 52 South to Beacon, make a left at the intersection with Main Street (traffic light), Hudson Valley Auctioneers will be 2 blocks down on your left hand side
From Cold Spring & Garrison, take rt. 9D North into Beacon, make a right on Teller / route 52 (note bronze bust George Washington), go to the first traffic light, make a right on Main Street, Hudson Valley Auctioneers will be 2 blocks down on your left side.
